[Week 5] Reflection on different Online White boards

Used www.scriblink.com to write a reflection about three different online white board websites.

Personally, I like the "www.scriblink.com" the most than the other website such as www.dabbledboard.com or www.jotspace.com or www.imaginationcubed.com
Scriblink has different tools that people can draw, write down or change background color, which are easy to use and can invite others easily - without signup the website. So people can chat through scriblink without MSN.

However, I am not going to use in my classroom. First time our PLN were all in one page, we were drawing, coloring, chatting through the Scriblink. Even the college students were excited with this website, then definitely the younger students will have same reaction towards this website. Every students might be not listening to my class but playing with Scriblink. If I need to use this website, I rather choose real white board.

By the way, this website is good tool to use to communicate with students.
After school, some students will be struggling with their homework.
This situation, some students might send email or call teacher to ask.....
I think rather writing the words to explain, we can invite student to this website and explain on the homework.... For example, math problem - writing the formulas using white board.
This will give students with better understanding.

  1. I like the idea of interacting with the students when they are at home using this tool. I am going to try this.
